An exoskeleton at the Paris2024 Olympics games

Kévin Piette is this Frenchman, paraplegic for 11 years following a motorcycle accident, and who became famous for having carried the Olympic flame for the Paris Olympic Games while walking… with an exokeleton.

He works for the start-up that developed this exoskeleton, Wandercraft.

Several commentators have referred to him as a test pilot of this new technology. It must be said that we are far from the light and discreet passive exoskeletons, which are already on the market. It doesn’t really correct the image of exoskeletons too often associated with Robocop and IronMan, but democratizing exoskeletons for the general public is always a good thing.

Bravo for the visibility. These images have gone around the world!
