The HAPO UP

The HAPO UP relieves the user’s shoulders in order to reduce the risk of developing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD). The HAPO UP is particularly suitable for tasks called “arms in the air”, i.e. for tasks involving handling light loads in the vertical plane for a vertical range of 60° to 180°. To put it simply, we are talking about the arms at a height ranging from the shoulders to above the head.

For whom?

Work situations requiring an “arms in the air” posture are considered risky for workers because they cause the appearance of joint damage in the arms and shoulders. Many sectors of activity are affected by this exoskeleton. Let’s think about careers in construction, public works, manufacturing, or agriculture to name only a few.

How ?

The HAPO UP draws its power from an articulated arm architecture integrating a composite leaf spring (solution patented by ErgoSanté). The HAPO UP is an example of excellence in terms of assistance: -40% and -28% reduction in shoulder muscle strain, respectively for tasks with arms held above the head and for movements light loads in the vertical plane.

Passive and adjustable assistance: up to 3.8 kg per arm;

Passive and automatic disengagement when the arms are lowered along the body.

A dial allows you to adjust the degree of assistance on each arm.

One size fits all: the harness and articulated arms of the HAPO UP are adjustable to the users’ body shapes.
